 | Obituary- McGranahan, George GEORGE McGRANAHAN
George McGranahan, 84, Emmett, died Friday, June 6, 1986, at the Onaga Hospital.
Mr. McGranahan was a retired farmer.
He was born September 20, 1901, near Warsaw, Mo., the son of Daniel Theodore and Laura Ann Cartright McGranahan. He lived in Emmett since he was 17 years old.
Mr. McGranahan was a member of the United Methodist Church and Emmett Service Club, both in Emmett.
He married Cleo B. Bartlett in 1926, at Westmoreland. She survives. A son, Galen McGranahan, died May 20, 1986.
Other survivors include a son, Donald V. McGranahan, Rossville; a sister, Mrs. Betty Waller, Independence, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Emmett. Burial was in St. Clere Cemetery. The family met with friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Verschelden Funeral Home.
